Hayling Island Camera Club is a friendly and forward thinking club with an impressive range of activities to choose from.

We have an Internet web site where members can share

• their photographs.
• Keep abreast of news, events and activities going on within the Club and also from other clubs within the area.
• Hayling Island C. C. aims to help and encourage photographers be they new to photography or more experienced to achieve their full potential.

Help and advice is given on both Digital and Film photography and techniques to improve the quality of images taken

Our weekly programmes include talks from many experienced photographers on their particular brand of photography such as Travel, Wildlife, Photojournalism, Natural history and many other interesting and fascinating subjects.

Amongst our guest speakers have been Heather Angel Internationally renowned wildlife and Landscape photographer, Fiona Allison a well-respected professional photographer of children and a regular contributor in photographic magazines.

• The Club has regular slide and print competitions aimed at all levels of expertise. Judged by professionals who provide constructive and evaluative comments on each image shown.

We take part in external competitions such as the Southern Federation, 3H’s and Selsey Slide battle.

• Theme nights are held, a Christmas Party and regular club outings to places such as the Hawk Conservancy Centre, Kew Gardens, short holidays to destinations home and abroad.

We have an exciting programme planned for 2008 come along and join in the fun
